About Me

While I've enjoyed a successful sales and marketing career in publishing, the declining industry and recent layoffs have precipitated my search to find a meaningful job. I am eager to step back, learn, work hard, and grow. I am ready to get to work.

As a senior marketing executive, I have spearheaded numerous projects which have led to rapid and sustainable business growth. My strengths are founded in understanding products and services, building marketing programs, and creating multiple, strategic marketing channels to drive business. Most importantly, I have the skills to understand and manage the analytics behind these channels to properly maximize the return on marketing investments.

Through my work in marketing and promotions, I have negotiated hundreds of sponsorships, promotional opportunities and have fostered many strategic partnerships to build on new channels of business. I am very well versed in budgeting, P&L and the evaluation of all marketing programs to understand the true costs, value and ROI from all sales and marketing initiatives. I have 17+ hands-on years of experience with email marketing including building, A/B testing, analyzing results and growing opt-in audiences.  

Within my tenure at the Jacksonville Business Journal, I ran a successful sales organization while producing and managing hundreds of business events including awards and content-based programs, receptions, networking events, VIP functions, roundtables, trade shows and panel discussions.
